“Professional educators and some of the most lovely people I have met. Highly recommended.”

— Jodie, Australia, Language instructor and certified counselor

“If you are looking to quickly pick up on all the Arabic you need to get by in Jordan, Maraheb is the place to be. Thanks to the centre’s personal approach, the lessons were always at exactly the right level for me, which helped me progress rapidly. I also appreciated the informal teaching style, as it made learning Arabic a fun and engaging activity, even after a long day at work. Maraheb gave me the confidence to start using what I had learnt right away, both during the sessions and outside of the classroom, which was very rewarding.
From the start, it was clear that I wasn’t just a number at Maraheb. The whole team made me feel very welcome and was always up for a laugh and a talk in the break room. They also taught me so much about Jordanian culture and ended up becoming great friends. Thanks for everything!”

— Lien, Belgium, Communications manager

I studied Arabic at several different centers and Maraheb gave me the most flexibility based on my learning style, speed, and the content of the lessons based on what I was interested in. I really appreciated the individualized curriculum that allowed me to tailor the lessons based on what types of vocabulary I thought I would use the most. The staff are warm, caring people who really invest in the lives of the students and who really care that we not only learn Arabic, but learn about the culture and experience the most of what Jordan has to offer.

"When I arrived in the country, the Maraheb center was the first official place I visited and I directly felt super welcome! The teachers and students are not just there to teach/ study, but to build relationships with each other. It feels like getting a second family!
I'm volunteering with Arabic speaking refugees, so my goal was to know how to speak in a short time. I chose to get private lessons around 6 hours a week. My teacher is really professional in teaching through the GPA method of learning, in adapting to my level of comprehension and in challenging me to grow in getting confidence and speaking skills. I’m thankful for being part of Maraheb.
If you are looking for a center to learn the spoken language in a fast and effective way, I recommend you to choose for Maraheb, you won’t regret it! The GPA program is built for you to speak, write and read in Arabic! Beside that I love to learn about the Arabic culture; having dinners, music, conversation, movie nights, trips, etc. are a perfect way for it!"

“Wonderful place, staff and curriculum.”

— Oriana, Aruba

"It gave me the best start to get into the beautiful Arabic language! The team is just lovely, accomodating and very flexible. It's unique how they have been able to create a family atmosphere in also organizing events and trips you can join and spending breaktimes together. Very often you will even get some lunch or kunafa offered :). I can highly recommend the center, if you want to go quick into talking the Levantine Dialect and enjoying companionship on the way."

—Kerstin, Germany, Development worker

"The family at Maraheb is an amazing group of teachers and students from all over the world. I have been overwhelmed with this immersive experience and the beauty of the Arabic language and culture. The holistic learning environment is a great way to build my skills while also building lasting friendships and experiences. We hang, eat, learn and play together. Give Maraheb a try, you won’t be disappointed!"
